For the first time, archaeologists have stumbled upon a remarkable hoard of Iron Age gold coins in Wales. These 15 exceptional artifacts, known as staters, were discovered in a field on the island of Anglesey, off the northwest coast of Wales. Tim Watson, a novice metal detectorist, was responsible for finding the remaining ten coins. After upgrading his equipment, he struck gold in the same field where Roberts and Cockton had made their discoveries.
